Jordan Herring
Jordan Herring, the founder and CEO of Hidden Valley Genetics (HVG) and also the “USA President CISW”. His journey began in the cannabis industry in 2003 with his first cannabis cultivation in Eugene, Oregon, but his early years were marked by a unique blend of experiences, including living in Thailand from 2007 to 2010 to train and fight professionally in Muay Thai under the tutelage of Ajarn Yodtong at the Sityodtong camp in Pattaya Thailand. In 2010 Jordan created his first cannabis collective sponsoring over 330 patients and cultivated flower for them in multiple commercial medical cannabis facilities throughout California. In 2012 Jordan opened a Muay Thai gym in San Diego California which still runs today and has created many champions. It is there where he gives fighters and former military members the ability to feed their families through work with cannabis, merging his passions for martial arts and cannabis cultivation. The pivotal moment in Jordan's career came in 2018 when the Federal Hemp Farm Bill was passed. This legislation enabled him to become a licensed seed breeder and geneticist and do research on all of the cannabinoids, this marked the formal inception of Hidden Valley Hemp, and Hidden Valley Genetics. His focus on research and development led to the creation of new cannabis genetics, including a notable achievement of developing a strain with 18.35% CBG.
