Jordan Herring, the Founder and CEO of Hidden Valley Genetics (HVG), brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to the cannabis industry. His journey began in 2003 with his first cannabis cultivation in Eugene, Oregon, and his career has since been marked by a series of notable achievements. Jordan’s early years included a significant stint in Thailand from 2007 to 2010, where he trained and fought professionally in Muay Thai under the esteemed Ajarn Yodtong at the Sityodtong camp in Pattaya. His passion for both martial arts and cannabis cultivation led him to establish HVG, which has since become a leader in the field.
In 2010, Jordan founded his first cannabis collective, supporting over 330 patients and cultivating flowers for them in multiple commercial medical cannabis facilities across California. The passage of the Federal Hemp Farm Bill in 2018 was a pivotal moment in his career, allowing him to officially launch Hidden Valley Hemp and HVG. Under his leadership, HVG has become renowned for its research and development of new cannabis genetics, including a groundbreaking strain with 18.35% CBG.
HVG stands out for its commitment to superior genetics, sustainable practices, and innovative cultivation techniques. The company operates a 2,400 sqm indoor facility in Bangkok and a 1,100 sqm greenhouse in Chachoengsao, making it the largest genetics supplier in Asia. Jordan’s approach to cannabis cultivation emphasizes the importance of genetic selection, optimal environmental conditions, and skilled labor, ensuring the production of high-quality, medical-grade cannabis products.
Jordan’s dedication to sustainability is evident in HVG’s use of eco-friendly products like NeutraFog and Mold Buster by Atmos Air.
