Magnolia M Yace has established herself as a pivotal figure in CAIMPEX’s expansion operations, playing a crucial role in the company’s growth and diversification strategies. Born and raised in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, Ms. Yace has always been passionate about agriculture and business. She pursued her higher education in the United States, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from AIC. Her academic journey continued at Regent’s University London, where she obtained a Master of Science in Management of Family Business.
During her early career, while interning at a company specialising in cocoa and coffee bean trading, Ms. Yace earned a Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute in London. Her educational background, combined with her hands-on experience in the industry, has equipped her with the skills and knowledge needed to drive CAIMPEX’s innovative agricultural programs.
One of Ms. Yace’s significant contributions to CAIMPEX has been the initiation of the “Regenerate the Tree of Life” program, a groundbreaking initiative under the company’s agricultural diversification policy. This program focuses on valorizing coconut farming through intercropping and the planting of new coconut varieties. Her leadership in this area has not only enhanced the sustainability of coconut farming but has also opened new avenues for economic growth in the region.
Founded in 1997, CAIMPEX has grown to become a key player in the global coconut industry. As a family-owned business, CAIMPEX operates one of the largest coconut farms in Côte d’Ivoire, spanning 4,300 hectares and employing over 500 people, with a commendable 60% of its workforce being women.
The company has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality products that meet international standards, including virgin coconut oil, crude coconut oil, and dry coconut. CAIMPEX’s commitment to sustainability and excellence has enabled it to form lasting partnerships with global customers in the food and cosmetic sectors.
