Faissal Sehbaoui
Faissal Sehbaoui is the Managing Director of AgriEdge, a pionnier player of AgTech in Morocco and Africa. Holding an engineering degree in applied mathematics, Faissal worked more than ten years in risk analysis and data management in banking and mining sectors before focusing on AgTech. In 2018, he founded AgriEdge, as part of an intrapreneurial program launched by the Chairman and CEO of OCP Group, with the mission of enabling african farmers to sustainably improve their production through innovative digital services. Faissal has been leading the development of solutions that harness the power of data, artificial intelligence, agronomic sciences and know-how to support farmers navigate every decision. Over the years, He has engaged in numerous programs and initiatives aiming to foster precision agriculture in Africa and among smallholder farmers. Faissal advocates for the high potential of African Agriculture. He believes that the challenge of african farmers is to produce more with less, and better, through sustainable agriculture practices. Every decision can be powered by the digital to improve efficiency and maximize margins and that's the promise of AgriEdge to farmers.
