About Yola Fresh: Yola Fresh is a pioneering platform focused on leveraging data-driven solutions to empower farmers and retailers within the agricultural ecosystem. With a highly efficient tech-enabled supply chain, Yola Fresh moves thousands of tonnes of perishables from farms to businesses in less than 24 hours.
The platform’s primary goal is to remove intermediaries in the food supply chain, enabling retailers to pay less for produce while allowing farmers to gain more profit quickly. Yola Fresh is deeply integrated with data and technology, utilizing machine learning and AI for predictive algorithms in supply and demand.
Youssef Mamou’s extensive career spans diverse sectors, showcasing his entrepreneurial flair and profound industry knowledge. He has served as the managing partner at 212 Founders, a prominent venture capital fund committed to nurturing and supporting startups.
Youssef’s leadership also extends to his tenure as GM at Careem, North Africa, a leading platform in the ride-hailing and gig economy sector. Before his roles in the startup ecosystem, Youssef held key positions in established organizations, including Deputy CEO at Dialog, where he optimized the distribution network for a fast-moving consumer goods distributor.
His expertise in electronics and marketing was honed during his time as Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung, North Africa. Youssef Mamou holds an Executive MBA from the Ecole des Ponts Business School in Paris and a Master of Science degree in Wireless Systems from KTH in Sweden.
