He has served in academic and research roles across Cuba, Mexico, Russia, the United States, and Italy, and led industrial laser development at View Inc., where he pioneered patented laser processes for electrochromic glass. In 2021, he founded Onteko, a technology company dedicated to sustainable agriculture through laser innovation. Under his leadership, Onteko launched Foliar Laser Boost, a patented method that enhances agrochemical absorption by selectively removing the leaf cuticle.
