Highly accomplished multilingual professional with extensive experience in Research (biotechnology and food processing), development and executive management. In my current role as Chief R&D Officer at HSA Group, I am responsible for leading the research and innovation strategy for the group. I have successfully developed an R&D roadmap for cost optimization and lead a team of 44 food and packaging technologists. Prior to my current position, I worked for over 10 years at Agthia Group PJSC, where I became the Chief R&D and QA Officer for the Group in the MENA region. In this position, I played a key role on the executive committee and was responsible for technical due diligence of M&As projects. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated expertise in business (R&D) transformation, agile methodology, strategy development, quality management, consumer science, team leadership, innovation, sustainability, productivity optimization, and regulatory compliance. My main achievements include leading strategic projects related to health and wellness, milk collection centers (UN, IFAD), sustainability, and breakthrough innovations, as well as the establishment of three R&D centers and the upgrading of quality assurance laboratories. In addition, being a member of the National UAE Food Committee, Codex Alimentarius and Abu Dhabi Food Committee, I have contributed in the development of many standards in UAE and GCC Main accomplishments:

1.​Established R&D Centers and Upgraded QA Laboratories: played a pivot role in improving the organization’s research capabilities and quality control processes.
2.​Led Technical Due Diligence for M&As: planning and leading QA and R&D integration for acquired businesses, resulting in 25M AED in synergies.
3.​Productivity Optimization and Quality Maintenance: achieved saving more than 150M AED through optimization efforts
4.​Development and implementation of Food Safety Strategy FSSC 22000- GFSI with clear KPIs year on year improvement zero recall
5. Innovations in Product Development: Led R&D projects that introduced innovative products like Zero Sodium Water, Vitamin D water, lactose-free yogurt, and plant-based bottles, advancing the organization’s offerings in health and sustainability recognized through many awards at the global and regional level and cooperation with international research institutions and universities.
6.Development of NPD Guidelines focusing on health, wellness, and sustainability meeting emerging consumer demands and regulatory requirements. 7.Sustainability Strategy Leadership
