She holds a National Diploma and BTech degrees in Electrical Engineering and Project Management, along with a BSc Honours in Engineering of Technology. Her commitment to advancing knowledge in sustainable agriculture is evident from her master’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture and her ongoing PhD candidacy at the University of the Free State.

Lebo’s educational background is further complemented by prestigious programs in Women in Agribusiness and Agriculture from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, as well as international leadership and entrepreneurship initiatives in the USA, Ghana, and South Africa. Her diverse and rich experiences have shaped her into a leading figure in agriculture.
In her professional career, Lebo has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the sector. She has served as the Poultry Chamber Leader for the African Farmers Association of South Africa (AFASA), led the Agricultural Division of the Black Forum, and was honoured as Best Diplomat in the USA. Her impressive accolades include Best Farmer 2021, Emerging Leader 2022, Best International Women Entrepreneur 2022, and Best Commercial Farmer 2023.
Now retired from her role as an Electrical Engineer, Lebo Dhludhlu is the Group CEO of Nkanyezi Farming. Under her leadership, Nkanyezi Farming has become a beacon of excellence and innovation in agriculture, driving forward sustainable and impactful practices.
