Postdoctoral Researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), Digital Agriculture unit. Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). Mechanical Engineer from the Regional University of the Northwest of Rio Grande do Sul (URI). Researcher at the Science for Development Center in Digital Agriculture (CCD-AD/SemeAr). His master’s research received recognition in the COP 26 Special Issue: UN Climate Change Conference 2021 (RELX Resource Center and Elsevier). His doctoral thesis was recognized by the Brazilian Academy of Quality (ABQ) for its relevant contribution to Brazil’s development. He was awarded honorable mention for achieving second place in the Best Doctoral Thesis Award by the Brazilian Society of Agroinformatics (SBIAgro) during the XIV Brazilian Congress of Agroinformatics. He received the AgriEngineering Outstanding Reviewer Award, standing out among 884 reviewers worldwide, and was also honored with the international award Excellence in Agriculture – Leaders – Digital Agriculture Transformation at the AgriNext Awards Dubai 2025, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to digital agriculture transformation. He serves as an ad hoc consultant for projects submitted to calls of the Secretariat for Innovation, Science, and Technology (SICT) of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (RS), and as project evaluator for the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
