Viviana has 20 years of combined experience in the food industry and the primary sector (agriculture) and food multinational companies (food additives, bakery, dairy, meat, beverages, nutritional supplements, prepared foods, fruit and vegetables), and extensive experience in Sensorial analysis, Quality Assurance, auditing, Technical Support, Training, and Improvement and implementation of Quality Systems based on GFSI (BRCGS, Primus GFS, Global GAP FSCC 22000, CANADA GAP, GFCP) ISO 9001 and HACCP programs for Growers, Processing Plants, Cooling and Distribution Warehouses. Leading GLP (good laboratory practices) in microbiology labs, GMP (good manufacturing practices) and GAP (good agricultural practices) personal training and continuous improvement. Now CEO/Founder by QR Agri & Food consulting, supporting agriculture and processing companies to lead into new markets, and global regulations. Also, strategic partner in the global word of exportations and importations of fruits and vegetables industry. Food Engineer and chemist with a master’s in food sciences from Laval University in Quebec (Canada). BRCGS approved training partner (ATP) and auditor for Farms, Greenhouses, packing houses, Food, Packaging, Gluten-Free, Storage and Distribution, Brokers and Agents, and several GFSI certifications. She’s passionate about the food industry and had the privilege to lead, develop and implement HACCP and GFSI standards for a large vegetable company from Farms, facilities, packing, storage and distribution in the US and Canada and successfully implemented and lead as auditor an approved supplier program. Trained many people in different industries like dairy, meat, bakery, fruits &vegetables, and beverages and helped them in their continuous improvement in process and laboratory areas, as well as training and implementation of GFSI quality systems in English, French, and Spanish. Created and led applications and microbiology labs as technical support for South and Central America in a large food additive multinational. Work as the first resource with governmental entities (CFIA, OMAFRA, FDA, USDA). She was invited to participate in different conferences and webinars as an expert in different Food events for the Americas (Latin and North America) e.g. Webinar Ecocert event.
