Daniele Cesano is an experienced impact entrepreneur and sustainability specialist. He holds a PhD in Earth and Water Resources Engineering and has worked as researcher and professor at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University and Harvard Kennedy School. He has successfully developed projects and consulted in the carbon market for organizations in the US, Italy, and Brazil. Cesano co-created Adapta Sertao, a $5 million regenerative agriculture program in Brazil, recognized with 15 awards such as the UNFCCC “Momentum for Change”. In 2018, he founded Adapta, a technical assistance service focusing on regenerative agriculture, and in 2023, he launched LandPrint, a monitoring platform connecting financial returns to impact. Cesano's contributions to farming communities earned him the Celso Furtado Prize and VEJA magazine's nomination as a top social entrepreneur in Brazil. He also played a findamental role in fundraising for the "Nelson Mandela SOS 46664 initiative" to raise awareness about HIV as a global crisis in the early 2000’s.
