Jorge Branco Almeida is an innovative and enthusiastic agronomist graduated from the Portuguese University of Trás-os–Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) and has worked in soil crops and soilless systems cultures in Europe, USA, África and Ásia for the last 20 years. In 2014 he founded Terraguar a technical/consulting company focused on developing the agribusiness projects for international companies such as, New Growing Systems, Moleaer, Pindstrup, Costiña Órganica, AgriAlgae and Agrekal. Has experience in providing technical support and training to farmers and other agricultural professionals and in designing and implementing experiments to test new techniques or products for agriculture and the circular economy sector. He´s an excellent communicator and problem solver, developing and implementing successful strategies for sustainable business, crop production and sustainable environment.
