About Alejandro J. Trueba

Alejandro J. Trueba is a distinguished agronomist whose career spans over four decades, focusing on rainfall stimulation and agricultural management. Beginning his journey in 1977, Alejandro has held key positions within Mexico’s Ministry of Agriculture, where he significantly contributed as the Managing Director of Agricultural Policy and Promotion. His early recognition as a leader in the field began with his graduation from the National School of Agriculture in Chapingo, where he earned the National Master’s Award in Agricultural Sciences in 1978.

In addition to his influential roles in public service, Alejandro has made substantial academic contributions, serving as a professor and Vice President of the College of Agricultural Engineers of Mexico. He has also completed advanced training, including a specialised course on Effective Irrigation Management at the University of Southampton, further enhancing his expertise.

As an accomplished author, Alejandro has published over 28 books and technical articles focusing on soil conservation and agricultural productivity, sharing his knowledge and insights with the global agricultural community. Currently, he leads StartUp Renaissance, a Mexican company dedicated to providing innovative and eco-friendly rainfall stimulation solutions. Alejandro’s work combines his extensive experience with a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture, aiming to improve farming practices while conserving vital natural resources.
