
Felix Krujatz
Dr.-Ing. Felix Krujatz is a distinguished researcher and academic leader specializing in Controlled Environment Agriculture and bioprocess engineering. Currently serving as the Research Area Lead at TU Chemnitz’s Chair of Automatic Control and Systems Dynamics, Dr. Krujatz has a strong foundation in biotechnology, holding a PhD with summa cum laude from TU Dresden, where he focused on photobiotechnology and innovative bioreactor design. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Krujatz is also the co-founder and CEO of biotopa gGmbH, a center dedicated to applied aquaculture and bioeconomy. Recognized with numerous awards, such as the Commerzbank Foundation PhD Award and the Young Investigator Award from the National Academy of Sciences, he actively contributes to academia through the supervision of PhD students, involvement in DECHEMA’s expert groups, and various teaching roles across German universities. Dr. Krujatz’s work is characterized by an integrative approach that combines advanced research, industry engagement, and leadership in sustainable biotechnology initiatives.
