About Dr. Vladimir V. Matichenkov
Dr. Vladimir V. Matichenkov was born in 1964 and graduated from Moscow State University in 1986, earning his Ph.D. in 1990. With a rich background in agricultural sciences, Dr. Matichenkov has dedicated his career to the development and implementation of sustainable agricultural practices worldwide. He has worked at the University of Florida from 1998 to 2004 and has since participated in several international projects in countries including Australia, Chile, China, the Togolese Republic, Norway, and Russia. His work primarily focuses on sustainable agriculture in regions facing critical issues such as water deficiency, chemical soil contamination, and salinity.
Dr. Matichenkov is renowned for his research in silicon-based technologies that promote sustainable and organic agriculture while also contributing to environmental protection. He has published over 170 scientific papers, holds multiple patents, and has developed various technologies aimed at protecting the environment from pollution and adapting to climatic stresses such as drought, frost, and salinity. His ongoing collaborations with institutions and private companies in Russia, China, the UAE, Malaysia, and beyond further demonstrate his commitment to advancing sustainable agricultural practices.
In 2015, Dr. Matichenkov was honored with the Chinese Award of Friendship, recognizing his contributions as a foreign expert. Additionally, he has been instrumental in establishing RusEco Organics LLC, registered in May 2019 in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, Russia. The enterprise specializes in producing environmentally friendly fertilizers, soil-forming agents, and premixes for animals, birds, and fish, all under the brand “NaturAgro.” The raw materials for these organic products are sourced from the Mari and Chuvash Republics.
